5.5 Gallon Betta tank

I decided to upgrade my one betta from his 2.5g to a 5.5g. I originally had it divided, but had moved the other to the divided 20Long. I have 3 male guppies in with my betta, when they beg for food he joins them. I’m going to move the guppies back to the 40 Breeder later. But so far no aggression from my dragonscale betta nor the guppies.

Hes so cute, his face looks like one of them "Pop" figurines lol

Glad to see its working out between him and the guppies, some people arent lucky

He does look like one of those Pop figures, but cuter.
He left ghost shrimp alone as well when he was in a 2.5 gallon tank. Guess it depends on the betta’s temperament.

He's a marble betta, and he's a plakat. Dragonscales have long fins. And mine is not agressive, he lives will cherry shrimp, amano shrimp, tw female guppies, 1male guppy, 1 swordtail, 1 swordtail fry, 1 guppy fry, about 4-5 molly fry, he will sometimes chase them around, but he doesn't hurt them. My female swordtail is like a sheep and he's a sheep-dog lol

Dragon scales can be both long finned and plakat. Most dragon scales I seen are plakats, which is what he is. He’s not a marble betta. I have 4 bettas in total, the other three are, a blue marble, partial dragon scale marble and a dumbo ear, all are plakats. I been keeping these types of fish for 18 years.

this betta is over 6 months old and if he was a marble, his coloring would of shifted like most marbles do.
