40 Gallon Breeder Stands

Does anyone know where I can get a iron 40 gallon breeder stand. A two level stand so I can put two forty gallon breeder tanks on it. It would have to be near Buffalo, NY. I have tried all the standard pet stores.

http://drsfosterandsmith.com has some for sale, and they'll ship to you. It doesn't look like they do a double stand for the 40 breeder, but since they're just shorter versions of a 75, you could do the 75 gallon stand, and just have some extra space on each end of each tank.
 
Try Dr. Fosters and Smith I just ordered another stand for my 40 gallon breeder. I ordered the one for my 60 gallon and when I was first putting it together I wasn't sure about the quality but after it all was put together and tightened it was a descent stand for the price. You can't find a stand for a 60 gallon tank for $140 the one for my 40 gallon breeder was $120 that one comes in next week.
 
If you aren't picky about looks, the shelving sold at home improvement stores (like Lowes and Home Depot) for organizing I guess garages and tool shops that are designed to hold about 1-2 thousand pounds a shelf will work. I've used them when I've had many tanks to set up, and you can pick how far apart you want the shelves (on some units), so it makes stacking tanks easy.

My wife won't let me move ours into the house to put a bunch of tanks on. :swear:
 
Thanks for all your help. I will try the sights that you recomended. You can't get anything at lowes. I bought metal stands at lowes but they all come with partical wood. I had to buy good wood and replace the partical board and then put stain and 5 coats of polyurethane on it. I have 25 tanks that way now I don't want to build another so I wanted a wroughti iron stand. Ive tried all the used places for a long time and no one gets them. Thanks again.
 
I built mine out of 2x4s and blood. I really need to do a tank update thread...
 
I made my 3 x 40 breeder tank stands from 4 x 4s. Cost me about $50 for supplies. Here is a pic of my 75 made the same way (don't have a recent pic of the 40s). Google DIY aquarium stands and you will get all kinds of info. Very easy. Good luck.
