Everything is doing great and seems to be thriving, and lately I've been seeing alot of coraline growth. I also forgot I added some native hermit crabs from the ocean about a 2 weeks ago. I monitered them very closly, and so far, so good! 
That's what I figured also, but then I re-thought it....
Most of the hermit crabs I've seen here are in the shallow water where the sun is beating directly on them, and when I collected the crabs they were in 70 degree water. So far I see no ill effects, and they eat algea like crazy!
