Hi again,
in case my pair of convicts don't work out in the 20 gallon long tank, I'm looking for advice for other good cichlids who will work as a pair in a 20 long.
My biggest factor to work around in a pH of 7.6 to 7.8 thanks to my city water. KH is only 6, and GH only 8-10.
I've done shell dwellers extensively in the past, but I'd like something more active.
Here are a few fish I've thought of, any comments would be appreciated:
Kribs
Bolivian Rams (if I can find them)
Nannacara Anomala (would the female leave the male alone after spawning in a tank this size?)
Keyhole cichlids
Laetacara curviceps
Neolamprologus brichardi or pulcher
N. caudopunctatus (if I could find any)
Apisto. borelli
Cockatoo Apistos
I really liked the convict personality until just today when things went bad, any other Central Americans who would work as a pair in a 20 long? Any of the above have personalities similar to convicts?
Thanks,
Eric
