they said that they would honor the price difference, but they were out of rena xp3! and home depot won't cut glass anymore! but i'm going to this special like glass and co place, where they will cut glass. and they said that there is no such thing as pool filter sand. . . unless people were talking about DE Filter powder?

try a pool store. googled the de stuff but couldnt find a pic. never seen it my self so no idea what it is.

it is called diatenasious earth pool filter powder. (i think i spelled diatenasious wrong) but it is what we use for our pool filter. whenever we take it out and wash off all of the nasty stuff we put in like 6 coffee cans full of it. it attaches to the filter slides and captures all the gunk in the pool.

all of those are D.E. FIlter Powder.

a pic of the bag isnt going to help me.... if you use it for your filter is it like sand or fine powder or what? call around look for the reg pool sand.

it is basically crushed shells. its a very fine powder, but its heavy at the same time.
