i was thinking about getting at bulk reef supply the 4 stage RODI system for 140 bucks, but i saw that the block and screen is only 5 micron, and i thought i wanted like a 5 micron, a 1 micron and then a .5 micron to have 0 tds. what do you guys think

Sounds like a good setup. The only way to insure no TDS is to get a meter so you can monitor the TDS regularly. Also check to see if your city uses chloramine or chlorine in the water supply. Chloramine will ruin a TFC membrane. BRS sells a carbon block that will remove the chloramine - make sure they are supplying that before you order. They also have a video specifically about this issue.
