How to anchor? It floats at all times. I've sort of stopped it by placing rocks on the corners, but the area around the middle is above the substrate. Any solutions? I also want it to grow, it hasn't fully carpeted my tank.
The seller told me to use toothpicks if they were floating. I did, but wouldn't stay down that much. Keep in mind my substrate was from the same seller
I think I used wire (like paperclips or picture wire) bent in a U shape to anchor it or a couple small pebbles just placed on a clump. Whichever I did worked...until I added a tiny BN pleco fry...It took a week or so until he plowed into it & it was filter fodder. I think corydoras or other fish might do that too...But it was a very cute plant "cushion" while it lasted.
I can't think how a toothpick would work...stab it into a root mass & hope for the best? It might work...
dougall, what are jewelry pins? All I can think of are fancy bobby pins...but neither hairpins or jewelry are something I can picture...Is this 1 of your British expressions? Sorry
