Due to popular request, we have changed the auto-close time for classifieds threads. Instead of them auto-closing after 21 days from the opening post, they will now auto-close after 21 days of inactivity. We hope that this will make the classifieds section more hospitable for our sellers!
Allowing the seller to edit their opening posts was discussed in length as well. While we would love to be able to offer that feature, it would have to be site wide and was not a viable option. We did not want threads to become disjointed throughout the site if a member chose to delete or edit their posts throughout the aquatic forums potentially removing pertinent information and rendering the threads invalid.
