hey folks, set my 125 gallon up for tangs. Ordered my shellies yesterday!..so excited.

Thanks Dudley. Two species of shellies for now; l. brevis and a. compressiceps "sumbu dwarf". The rest of the gang will include n. leleupi, j. marlieri, chalinochromis brichardi, eretmodus, maybe something from the brichardi complex, synodontis petricola and cyprichromis (small...leptosoma, I think)

I've heard N. leleupi will predate on shellies and any fry so if you aren't dead set on them, I'd skip them.

I've also noticed that S. petricola are extremely active and poke into the shells disrupting spawning so I've removed them from tanks that I want to raise fry.

I've read that about leleupi as well. May change my mind on them. Thanks for the input!

That is a very nice tank setup for sure! I hope you will post some pics after all the fishes arrive.
