I'm planning a tank with a pair of apistogramma cacatuoides. I would love to keep some malaysian trumpet snails, but am worried about the snails eating the eggs or resting fry. Do you think this would be a problem?

No~ They won't touch the eggs or the fry as long as they are well fed. MTS are peaceful and you should not have any problems!!

it will be fine. Mama cacautoides are WAY too protective for snails to overtake fry, and MTS don't eat live fry anyway.
