Not what it was sold to me as

The white tips on the tail fin are a dead giveaway. Common BN fry have white edges on the dorsal and tail fins that gradually diminish as they grow. The color of the spots isn't a reliable indication of anything.

Are you shure these are even plecos i have seen many diffrent plecos but these truley look like bristlenose catfish,there nose looks way to round to be a pleco.
 
OK thanks. I couldn't really tell from the picture. I agree that it's a common brown bristlenose as well. A nice fat, cute one!
