Ok, I just bought two Kribs. One is skinny and the other is just down right FAT! Could she be possibly carrying eggs or is she just a big eater? Also could some one please tell me the gender? I believe theyr both female.
Theyr kinda of hard to see but the one with the brightest belly is the one I think may be carrying eggs.

When you say aggression do you mean towards one another or to the other fish? I had a problem with my electric blue johanni chasing them when i released them in the tank. Theyr better now but there fins are split in lots of places...Heres some pictures of the skinnyer fish, could someone tell me if it is definatly a male?

I think they're possibly both females. The one with the pink belly is ready to lay eggs and just needs a male to help her get the job done! The males tail tends to point almost like an arrowhead and they are normally larger. Males can grow to 4 inches and females reach about 3.

My pair of Kribs have just bred and hatched 10 babies, 4 days old and counting.

from what i see in the pics i think thats a female since the tail is curved but i cant tell. my kribs just layed eggs in their anubias covered coconut hut!!!

looks like a male to me, but hard to tell. My male often has a pinkish belly where the female has a darker red/purplish belly.
