Hi all! So far Ive got 3 Angels(body sized a lil larger than a 1/2 dollar), a 1inch otto, 2 platys, 1 small snail, 2 mollies, 3 neons and 8 guppies. Do I have enough water for 2 more ottos, 5 more neons, 3 more guppies. Maybe 2 smaller Angels too. Is this too much ?

I wouln't say that its overstocked at all. If anything i suggest more neons as they like to be in groups and they look nice schooling about in 10+ numbers. I'd be careful though, fully grown angels could see them as a snack.

I started out with 6 neons. 2 were tiny and i think 1 got eaten. The other one I saved. Its goin to join the school in my girlfriends 37gal. 1 was rejected by the other 3 and died.. The remainin 3 are ignored by the Angels. The next neons I get will be bigger.

get more than just 2 more otos, they like to be in groups. don't get any more angels, as they can get rather mean towards each other as they grow up. get the 5 neons, to up the school, since they like larger groups too.

as for having 'enough water'..... do you have lots of decor, plants, hiding spots in your tank? what are you running for filtration? what is your water change schedule? those are all variables.

your guppies, are they all male or mixed gender? if mixed, don't bother buying more, since you'll have more than you can fathom in a short while, lol!

keep an eye on your 3 current angels for aggression as they get bigger and be ready to separate them if need be. i had two in the same tank for a while as they grew and as soon as they hit maturity they tried killing each other.

The Angels are 2 males & a female.. I think the 2 are goin to pair up. The male tolerates the other to a point. The guppies are mixed. I have a penguin 350 & an aquaclear 300. I have lots of plastic plants but they arent too dense. I plan to add some floaters . I change atleast some water weekly. Nitrates never go up above 20.

You will need to get rid of one of the angles, the odd one out,if the other 2 pair up.How do you know their sex? If they lay eggs and have fry,you may need to remove everything else in the tank.I wouldn't get anymore angels.
Definetely get more otos.I would get at least 4 more. And also get more neons, have a school of 10 or so in a 55,more if you want, and pray the angels don't eat them.

When I bought the angels one would chase all the others away but the 2nd one. I just assumed it was a male claiming his female. The never fight and swim together. The 3rd was a guess i took. It was in a seperate tank. They were 3/$24. .... I shouldve just gotten 2.
