So as i was taking a trip back through memory lane here on AC i ran into a few photo's of my old Telmatochromis Dhonti and was wandering that my Hybrid probably isn't a hybrid after all but just a lighter albino type Dhonti..

Pay attention to the markings around the eye and face area i really think this could be a Albino type Dhonti..

By this photo he really isn't that dark looking in my aquarium he is totally a light color fish almost white looking..

I don't know... Look at how angular the fins are in the hybrid, and it has yellow by the anal fin, unlike the dhonti. Its gill plates also don't go down as far, but that may be the camera angle. The "hybrid" is over all shaped more like a neolamprologus, and the dhonti is shaped more like a julie. Maybe just dimorphisms though.

Does it act like a dhonti?

Still seeing a different body shape. Your probably right though, since I don't know a lot yet.
 
Well at least i know what he is sorta either a Dhonti or a Dhonti mix.. Cool thanks buddy..
 
Maybe, Pitt. IMO we should wait to see how he looks as a full adult. At least, he is a dhonti mix for sure.
 
He is pretty much full grown i need to put up a more current photo the latest photo above was shot back in summer i believe..
 
Then I want to see a recent pic, please.
 
Cool i will try later today he is a hiding freak..
