Hey i got a large green severum that only eats frozen krill.
it won't eat any flakes and won't eat the food unless it is still cold.
What do I do??

Also it is almost alone in the 55gal tank. There are two zebra dianos but they hide from him, what fish can i put in there that won't hide from him or e=get eaten?

Personally I wouldnt try to get him on flakes. Other types of frozen that are cheaper would be good. You can also try pellets. Have you tried starving him out long enough to get him to eat something else?

prepped foods will help to provided balance.

larger fish will often be fed pellets.
if the fish are not taking the pellets then try mixing with frozen(thawed) foods.

For food I would do what the others suggested....
Tankmates: Another sev, angelfish, keyhole cichlids, etc..

I feed mine HBH super soft pellets you could probably throw them in the fridge to give that chilled sense. I would also try staring out and soaking pellets in frozen food juices as mentioned above.

For a mate i would say another sev. or a calm smaller central like Rainbow Cichilds or Australoheros oblongum ToddNBecka was selling them a month or two ago. If i did not have my rainbows those would have been the fish i would have chosen. I hope you find answers. Severums ROCK
