Nothing drives me crazy more than knowing I have something like plant weights but not being able to find them. I had aquariums in different rooms so I had to cart stuff around the house. I found many of my things getting misplaced and stored in different aquarium stands.

Enter the tackle box.

I don't remember what life was like before it. I keep my water test bottles, cards and sample tubes on top. My suction cups, plant weights, droppers, thread, air stones, connectors and such in the next tray. My instruction manuals, scissors, tweezers, brush, thermometer and scotch brite in the 3rd tray. In the bottom of the box I keep my prime, meds, measuring spoons and some other bigger items.

Knowing where to find stuff is half the battle.

Sounds like a good idea, but yea... I'll have to agree with H. That's why I have drawers in the fish room. ;)

I use a milk crate and a cleaning caddy that has a center handle (so I can carry it where ever needed). The cleaning caddy sits inside the crate with all of the stuff I use for WC, testing the water, and cleaning the glass. The crate itself has all of the "meds" and stuff that I don't use all of the time but is still portable. The whole thing will slide in the bottom of my main tank stand in the livingroom.
