Just purchased a lot of new Eartheaters

January or not, it's something definitely worth waiting for haha. If I'm not mistaken, when Ken made the thread on MFK about the trip didn't he say that one of the areas you guys are going to had never been collected before? I can't imagine how excited you must be about that!
 
Originally I wasnt going on his trip, but people backout so we decided to join his so we could spend more time down there collecting. I will have the opportunity to collect multiple species of Gymnos (G. balzanii, G. australis, G. ex-meridionalis, G. meridionalis, G. n.sp. catalan, G. gymnogenys), as well as pikes, catfish, tetras, etc. :D The main thing I'm limited on is how much I can bring back so we'll see what catches my eye when I go. The area I believe he was talking about is Paysandu or Tranqueras, all new to me so I'm not too particular.
 
Well, the Tapajos arrived DOA yesterday shipped in an inch of water. The buyer also refuses to reimburse me for the purchase even though he stated he had a live arrival guarantee. So, now I'm out of a large chunk of money and searching for more Red Heads. Does anyone know where I could find some?
 
Sorry to hear that kalen. It's a shame how our world works, can't even buy fish safe. But no I'm sorry i don't mow where to get red heads maybe your LFS could order them for you?
 
Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately there are no LFS close to me that are worth noting, but my Sister-in-law however does own a really nice fish store though. Only problem with that is she lives two hours away. I'll get the wife to get a hold of her for me and see if she can get them, it'd be a good reason to visit family.

Dang Kalen that sucks. I had a DOA last month too but on an adult fish. Still sucks to hear though. You may have to wait a couple months but when mine spawn next I can hook you up with some, prolly around 10 or so juvies. You'll have to pay for shipping from Vancouver WA though. Juvies ship allot better tha adults and I won't let none of the adults go free anyway lolz.. :thumbsup:

Dam dude that sucks Kalen on the shipment loss who was it so that i do not buy from them, good to hear that you are or maybe coming to the fish auction meet next week try dude it will be fun if you do decide PM me and i will give you the address for GPS or directions.. Also the Florida trip will be next spring i will fill you in as time goes by..

Wow man, that really sucks. Have you tried paypal? you might be able to get your money that way. did you take pictures? If i had the time and bags i would have shipped mine to you.
