Cichlids Netted in Cleveland OH, ID Needed

I'm not sure. Hybrid maybe. But there's so many mbunas it could just be some species that I don't know.

Absolutely no way they'll overwinter in cleveland.

My friend just had the heater fail on her tank and her fish were swimming upsidedown on the top of the tank dying at 69 degrees. I've also had similar happen with a heater failure. You get below 72-73 degrees and they don't handle it well at all.

Now that I look closer, they have vague stripes. Could be male kenyis.

Either way they won't overwinter.

They have a lab shape but not quite the right color. Perhaps one of the ever so common lab/red zebra hybrids you see everywhere. They definitely are not kenyis, not the right shape. Labs can have barring when stressed.

It's nothing like I've ever seen before. Very interesting, and I love the color.
