Try this stocking calulator for both fish relationships and socking levels. It can also help with filtration level calculations.

I found it to be beneficial.

That is a great tool. Looks like I need to reconsider adding a second school of anything. I also need to add a second filter.

After running several scenarios through that tool I think the best stocking scheme I can find that makes me happy is

6 Danios (current cycling fish)
2 Angelfish
4 Cory Cats
2 Dwarf Gouramis

Add another Penguin 200 filter

This leaves me with the following stats -
Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 171%.
Recommended water change schedule: 34% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 104%

After some more research on my tank I think I have determined that the guy who sold it to me was wrong on the size. It is a 36 gallon (not 33) Aqueon bow front with matching Geneva cabinet stand.

I put 6 Danios in it on Tuesday evening to start the cycling process. I'm also trying Microbe-lift special blend to speed up the process. I'm not sure if it will do any good but I will report my experience here and on my blog journal. I got six Zebra Danios but three of them are albino so there is some variety to look at.
