I have one pair in a 38 gallon partioned layed eggs a few days ago. Next tank over is a 38 gallon tank also a pair have layed eggs once but refuse to lay eggs again. They are still going through their ritual but refuse to lay? I have a ceramic furniture for laying eggs. I change all their water at the same time I am confused maybe put another Discus on the other side? Thanks. Tim :|

Try performing more small wc with slightly different water condition (pH/temp, etc) than tank water.
Most of time, a stimulus do trigger them. Should condition/feed them well before hand thus they produce healthier clutch.

If you can get your hands on some live white worms or california blackworms......terrific spawning triggers!

What are your water parameters and tank temperature? 84 degrees seems to be the magic number for breeding. I have also had very good luck with freeze dried california blackworms purchased here:

Currently have three pairs all sitting on eggs, unfortunatly I need to get them into a breeding tank.

How often do you change water? You might try post poning it a day if you don't feel good about altering your water parameters.
