New to the hobby!!!

I have had planted tanks for over 10 years. I have used all sorts of lighting, ferts, substrate and CO2.
Currently my best experience is with my 46gal tank
2x 96 watt PC 5600K and 7200K bulbs
Shultz Clay Conditioner for substrate
Tropica master grow 10ml 2x week
25% water change every week
CO2 pressurized to in-line reactor that connects to out take of filter

Now what works for one does not mean it works for someone else.

Find CO2 unit on forum for sale here. I bought my whole kit tubing, regulator, needle valve, 5lb tank and reactor for $140 that was shipped and it works perfect.
You can always go yeast, sugar and water also. I did this for sometime and it does work.

I have guppies and lots of cherry shrimp in my planted tank. So the water change for me is needed.
25% for me is only 10 gals.

Amazing tank.....im realizing a well planted tank can rival most reef setups

It is a work in progress.
Some people take their planted tank to a whole artist level.
It took me sometime to play with plants and see what was easy to grow and what not easy to grow.

Thanks for the complement though.
Give it time and I am sure you will also have a great looking tank.
I am still fighting some string algae.

you can use playsand for the substrate, plants do fine not really fast growth. but i dont want to be trimming all the time either. this is my 75 gallon around 2 wpg, no ferts and no co2
