I have an 18 gallon tall aquarium with HOB filter, air stone and heater.
I want to keep 2 bristlenose and several other fish. Suggestions? Also, I have a piece of cork wood. Will it be ok for the BN? or should I get some real driftwood? Thanks for the help. I keep goldfish and koi but tropicals are new for me.

What are the dimensions of the 18 gallon tank? I'd say a single BN would be better than 2 in such a small tank. As for other fish, just about anything suitable for that size tank should be alright with a BN. They don't require driftwood, but will need some veggies in their diet. A small tank won't gorw nearly enough algae to feed one.

The tank is 10x20x10. I routinely feed squash and peas to my goldies. What other veggies do you suggest? Thanks for the help :)

Squash and peas are fine, canned green beans also disappear quite fast IME. Yam slices are fine for larger BN, but juvies seem to have a hard time eating it.
