What is this thing? ID this "eel"

I found these old photos over on MFK and the source of them wasn't sure on the ID. He told me they might be "laser eels from india", but I can't find a thing on them online by that moniker. Literally nothing.

Any idea? Are they even FW? Thanks for any help you can give me.
