Good day everyone

Please could you try help me out. My regal tang sadly passed unexpectedly through the night. The tang had a huge hole on the side that actually looked like a a leach ate from it but strangely this morning I found that she had past where my lobster normally chills where it is under the live rock in the sand and I know that the tang normally spelt by the rocks at night.

So please would I be right to say that my lobster had grabbed my tang through the night and ate her or would I possibly have a other unwanted host in my tank?

I know that freshwater "lobsters" and crayfish will eat fish, but don't have much experience with saltwater. I did a search and it looks like it depends on the species, if it was a spiny or rock lobster then yes, it likely is the culprit. If not it may just be a coincidence that that is where the fish died.
