From everything I've read, Endler's thrive at higher temperatures around. However, from everything else I've read and experienced shrimp thrive around 70 F. I wouldn't mix the two due to that. Also, I wouldn't put that much bioload in a 1/2 gallon. I didn't know you had Endler's. I'd say you're maxed out. Don't add anything else to that tank IMO.

I only have one Endler's. Could I add another? ....Without shrimp, of course.

IMO, no. Its already pushing it to have one fish in a half gallon tank.

Uh......never mind, it just jumped out and died anyway. So, I suppose it'll just become a Shrimp & snail tank. If you didn't know I have 2 small MTS in there.

I use a Finnex heater controller in my small tanks... Keeps it right at 74, perfect breeding tank for the shrimp. Alarm would go off and prevents any "cooking".
