what would you like to know?

There are Micro nutrients, often sold in a mixture like Plantex CSM+b, or MIller's Microplex.

The most common Macro ferts are:
Potassium Nitrate KN03 -
Monopotassium Phosphate KH2P04
Potassium Sulphate K2S04

Check out the EI (estimative index) dosing method. Its the simplest way to get your plants fertilized. You may have to tweak it a bit based on your results, plant requirements, etc... There are several threads here on AC about EI dosing.

Check out Ferts here from a member of this forum

It's basically looks like ppmd which I offer on my site that zig posted it is a all in one but the down side is to don't have the option to adjust to your tanks need. You can get each one and mix your own which allows you to adjust if needed. It's still good and many use it but just know the limitations.

I was thinking as a new member to the true plant keeping hobby that for now at least keep it as simple as possible because I dont really know what my plants needs are, I am using rot tabs also. For example, I have an amazon sword which I give root tabs, I assume this is enough as he is lovely and green and very healthy looking. But my dwarf hair grass just died within weeks so I must be missing something, I dont know the requirements for dhg so I cant say what I was missing.
